It can be tough to get a good long exposure image during the day, so I'm really pleased with the way this shot of Pea Island along the Outer Banks turned out. This shot was a half-second exposure, which would normally let so much light in the camera during a sunny day like this that the image would be way too bright; almost white. So, I attached a neutral density filter, which is essentially like sunglasses for a camera.
